The Filter for Windows is a small application that pays attention to what you play in iTunes, Windows Media Player or WinAMP and sends that information to the developer's site, in order to collect our music and movie preferences.
Moreover, at first run, The Filter will scan your disks and send this information too, in order to be aware of the music that you already own.
With all this data collected and analyzed, the developer's site can suggest you more music nad/or movies to bought. What a marketing campaign!
